Jason Nili – General Manager
Jason brings over 28 years of international experience in the financial services and insurance sectors, having held senior leadership roles with prominent insurance firms across Australia, the Pacific, and Europe. Most recently, he served as General Manager for South Australia at WTW (Willis Towers Watson), where he was also an integral member of the Asia-Pacific Leadership Team.
With a decade of hands-on experience in the South Pacific, Jason previously served as CEO of Capital Insurance Fiji. During this time, he actively contributed to the industry as a member of the Insurance Council of Fiji (ICF) and other key industry bodies.
Having returned to the helm of the IHPL team, Jason combines his extensive global network with deep local insight to deliver broad market access, strategic opportunities, and tailored solutions for IHPL’s clients. His leadership ensures the firm remains both globally connected and locally responsive.
Ilyaz Koya – Head of Broking
With over 25 years of experience in general insurance, employee health and benefits, risk advisory, broking, underwriting, and claims management, Ilyaz is a seasoned expert in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Insurance Holdings Pacific in 2019, he spent nearly 17 years with AON and Marsh Fiji, where he held key roles serving diverse client portfolios.
Ilyaz specializes in structuring and managing comprehensive insurance programs for corporate clients across Fiji and the broader Pacific region—including Samoa, American Samoa, the Solomon Islands—and international markets such as Australia, Hong Kong, and Mauritius. His regional expertise is complemented by academic contributions, having lectured in Disaster & Risk Management at the University of the South Pacific, further demonstrating his commitment to advancing insurance knowledge in the Pacific.
Ramita Nandan – Financial Controller
With over 14 years at Insurance Holdings Pacific Ltd (IHPL), Ramita plays a key role in overseeing the company’s day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring full compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Reserve Bank of Fiji.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of the South Pacific (USP), Suva, and is an Associate Member of CPA Australia. Her deep understanding of financial governance and regulatory frameworks supports IHPL’s continued integrity and operational excellence
Joji Butadroka – Account Manager/Nadi Branch Broker Team Leader
Joji brings decades of distinguished experience in both the insurance and legal sectors, contributing deep industry knowledge and strategic insight to the IHPL team.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Professional Diploma in Legal Practice (PDLP) from the University of the South Pacific (USP), Suva. Joji is currently pursuing Senior Associate CIP accreditation with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), further enhancing his professional credentials. His dual expertise supports IHPL’s commitment to delivering informed, compliant, and client-focused solutions. He is based at IHPL’s Nadi office, where he plays a vital role in supporting client portfolios and driving service excellence
Sarah Chand – Senior Account Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Sarah brings extensive expertise in the placement and management of insurance programs for clients across Fiji and the broader Pacific region. Her deep understanding of regional insurance needs allows her to deliver tailored solutions with precision and care.
Sarah holds Diplomas in Information Systems and Information Technology, along with a professional certificate from the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF). She is based at IHPL’s Suva office, where she plays a vital role in supporting client portfolios and driving service excellence.
